What is MagAid?

A slim tool card that snaps magnetically to the back of your phone. It has 8 everyday tools plus a grip that doubles as a landscape stand: 9-in-1.

Will it work with my iPhone?

Yes, with any iPhone that has MagSafe. It snaps straight on, with or without a MagSafe-compatible case.

I have a Samsung or another Android phone. Will it work?

Yes, with a magnetic case. Most Android phones, including the Samsung Galaxy S25, have no magnets built in, so you’ll need a case labelled "MagSafe-compatible" or "Qi2 magnetic". An adhesive magnetic ring on the back of your case also works. Once that’s on, MagAid snaps on, and the grip and stand work the same as on an iPhone.

How big is it?

The card is 64 x 98 mm and slim at 6.5 mm thick.

What tools are inside?

Toothpick, ballpoint pen, SIM pin / needle, nail file / flat screwdriver, tweezers, micro knife, scissors and a molded ruler on the side edge. Add the grip and landscape stand and that’s 9-in-1.

Does it work with wireless charging?

Take MagAid off to charge, the same as with any magnetic accessory.

Can I take it on a plane?

It has small scissors and a micro knife, and carry-on rules for those vary by country and airport. Please check your airline and local aviation rules before you fly.

What colors are there?

Sapphire, Crimson and Obsidian. You pick your color after the campaign ends.

How much will it cost?

When will it ship?

Estimated delivery is June 2027.

Do you ship outside the US?

Yes, worldwide. Shipping is charged when you back on Kickstarter. Outside the US, local VAT and import taxes may apply.

Is MagAid a finished product?

We have working samples, and the production mold is cut after the campaign is funded. Kickstarter pledges fund that first production run. Patent pending.
